Sitep water chillers for bakeries

Dough temperature decides how your dough ferments, and the easiest way to control it is the water going into the mixer. Sitep water chillers give you water at any set temperature from +1°C, even in a hot bakery, so every batch comes off the mixer at the same temperature. Pair one with a Sitep water meter and the right amount goes into the bowl automatically.

Pair it with a water meter

Water chiller FAQs

Mixing warms dough through friction. Cold water offsets that, so the dough finishes at the right temperature for fermentation. It matters most in summer and with long or intensive mixes.

A storage chiller keeps a tank of cold water ready for big draws at once. A continuous chiller cools water as it flows, with no stored water, and suits steady use through the day.
